About Us

History

Starting life as a thatched school 400 years ago, which then later supported the children of the railway workers in the late 19th century and the evacuees in WW2, the building formally became a Village Hall in 1981.

Hellidon Village Hall is run by a Management Committee made up of seven elected members (elected at the AGM) The current Committee was elected at the AGM in April 2022, with the following officers:

  • Chairperson: Doreen Hillier-Bird
  • Secretary: Rachel Baldwin
  • Bookings: Doreen Hillier-Bird
  • Treasurer: Martin Allen
  • Committee Members: Tony Fell, Trevor Morris, Deborah Hirst, Marcus Galliford
